Cremation Services
Cremations in the Cork Harbour area take place in Rocky Island Crematorium. All documentation will be handled for you by the professional team here at Cahill’s Funeral Home. Should you wish to hold a funeral mass before the cremation service, we will ensure that timings are arranged to suit your wishes. Religious and non-religious ceremonies are accommodated. Burial Services
If you choose a burial service for your loved one, we will arrange the purchase of a plot where no previous purchase has been made. Alternatively we can arrange for the opening of an existing grave. All the necessary arrangements will be made for you by our professional staff, in accordance with your wishes.
Transportation Services
We can organise transport for you and your family during this difficult time and will always provide a respectful and thoughtful service to all our passengers. With a number of comfortable, appropriate vehicles at our disposal, we want you to know that your comfort during this time is incredibly important to us. Graveside Services
A graveside service will traditionally take place after the religious or non-religious ceremony that proceeds it. However, should you prefer a stand-alone graveside ceremony, we will of course be happy to organise this for you. All audio tools such as speakers and microphones will be provided by our team.
Viewings
Should you wish your loved one to respose at home or in our newly opened funeral home, we can arrange a viewing at a time that works best for you. Speak with us about the options available and be assured that we will take care of all the arrangements.
Repatriation
We provide a full repatriation service for Cobh and the surrounding areas and will arrange for the remains of your loved one to be returned home in a respectful and dignified manner. All travel and transport arrangements will be taken care of by our team.
Funeral Services
Making funeral arrangements can seem like a daunting experience, especially so soon after the loss of a loved one. The professional and caring team here at Cahill’s Funeral Home will take the pressure from your shoulders and take care of all the arrangements in accordance with your wishes.

Over the past 4 decades we have spoken to many families and individuals who wanted to pre-plan the arrangements for their funeral. We will always work closely with you and advise on the options that are available.
